Alkaline Trio Get Back To D.I.Y. Roots
Alkaline Trio plans to get back to its roots for the follow-up release to 2008's "Agony & Irony," singer-guitarist Matt Skiba tells Billboard.com.
"We kind of want to make a punk rock record," Skiba says. "That's how we started as a band, and over the years I think we evolved into kind of more of a rock band with punk roots.
Agony & Irony... Live together in perfect harmony
Alkaline Trio's Agony and Irony EP will be out Tuesday, April 22. It features the tracks "Help Me", "In Vein", and "Into The Night".

Déjà Vu, no it's completely different
Vagrant records are to re-release the Alkaline Trio's last album Crimson with extra tracks.

The band will tonight be on Radio 1's "The Lockup" with Mike Davies from 9:00pm.

USA / Canada Tour Dates
The Trio have announced some more dates in support of their upcoming release Crimson in North America. Death By Stereo and Rise Against will join the June/July leg of the tour.

Alk3 to play shows in the UK in May ?
From the trusty sources at punktastic.com. They have releaved that Alkaline Trio are expected to visit the UK in May for "limited dates". Make of that what you will but its coming from a reputable source over at punktastic and i would keep your eyes pealed for more news. I would imagine a Manchester and London date to be in the pipeline if its just two shows but who knows.
